We all know that Covid-19 has everyone changing the way we do business. Even us dog walkers
have to adapt and make sure that we keep everyone safe...pets, clients and walkers themselves.
We are keeping tabs on CDC guidelines and going along with them to ensure everyones safety.
-
Wearing cloth masks upon entering clients homes.
-
Washing and or sanitizing hands with soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitizing liquid.
-
Wiping down any surfaces we come in contact with by using bleach or alcohol based sanitizing wipes. This includes door handles, cabinets, treat containers and counters that we may use.
-
We will be also be sanitizing prior to coming in contact with the animals, after we leave, and again before coming in contact with the next clients animals. Though the risk of transmission from a dog-to-human and human-to-dog is low, we are taking extra precautions to limit any potential risk of spread.
-
Maintaining social distancing while out on our walks. (We all know some folks have a hard time not saying "hi" to a cute pup. But we suggest that folks keep their distance while we are out and about).

According to the CDC, "in the United States, there is no evidence that animals are playing a
significant role in the spread of COVID-19. Based on the limited information available to date, the
risk of animals spreading COVID-19 to people is considered to be low. However, because all
animals can carry germs that can make people sick, it’s always a good idea to practice healthy
habits around pets and other animals." If you or your animal should become sick OR you
suspect/have a confirmed case of Covid-19, I ask that you please notify me right away.
